Dictation!

Low Tide by Sarah Penwarden
I walk beside you
Across mudflats in
My blue gum boots,
Over crackling oyster
Shells, green-ribbed pipe,
The traces of wading birds.

When the tide is out, what lies exposed:
River threads of mud, old brown stones,
Tiny mussels yet to grow:
My soul prince left
On the oceans’
Bones.

Katie Glynn
Katie Glynn represented and was positioned as the New Zealand striker for the Black Sticks Hockey Team for New Zealand in the Olympics Games. She was a committed player and never missed any of her training. As she got older she was faced with sacrifices and made decision between two essential things but she thought that training was more significant.

In the Olympics games she has been through injuries and had one experience of a hockey stick that hit her head and got stitched up in the middle of the match and continue to compete again. Katie’s back was painful than any other injuries. She tried to take medicines but then she realised her back isn’t improving and making a difference.

As an athletic, Katie has been a role model and a huge inspiration to young children to dream big and start believing in yourself. She is courageous and determined by her own actions which maintains the number of people she has inspired throughout her experiences as a Black Sticks.

Unfortunately Katie has retired from the Black Sticks (hockey team) because of the number of injuries she has gone through. Her job is being a coach for the Auckland Diocesan Girls College. On Tuesday the 28th of March, she visited and inspired the Saint Patrick’s School children in Auckland to be the best we can as we grow up in the future.

Katie says to be the best we can to succeed our goals in the future and be a strong person to be able to fulfil our journey as we grow.

Meditation!

Monday 13th of March 2017

Reflection:
What is the next step in my relationship with you?

Message:

To relax our minds and let God’s Spirit  fill us. To realize all the families around me who are suffering from death and asking for a change in life. No matter how old we are, we are children of God. God showed us love and gave day and night which was named as sun and moon. Then we gave us lights such as stars - to light our journey.

Is a rubbish a problem?
